Lions Club of Prai

Hair cutting played a significant role in maintaining one's appearance. It contributed to a neat look for individuals. LC Prai initiated such a project, and I was the inaugural client to commence the project (with a modest donation), resulting in my hair being trimmed to the edges.

Later that evening, on September 5, 1997, at 8:30 PM, I attended their club meeting. The atmosphere was professional, and I was impressed when the secretary, Lion Ooi Chao Syhuan, utilized his laptop to record the minutes of the meeting. Lion Ooi was very precise, capturing all the important decisions adopted by the club.

This was the first club in our district where I observed such a practice being implemented, and I praised the secretary and the club president for their innovative idea. I learned that the minutes were distributed the day after the meeting. I seized this opportunity to notify other clubs that LC Prai had established a commendable example for others to emulate. Minutes ought to be circulated within a week following the meeting to enable the respective chairmen to take necessary follow-up actions.
